The Culture Graines project consists of creating an ecological garden that is both a fruit and vegetable production site and a place for welcoming and educational activities. It fosters links, sharing and exchange with local residents and schoolchildren. The garden welcomes the public for workshops, training courses and events focusing on ecological gardening in the city. This model allows for the exchange, donation and supply of seeds, compost and other gardening materials.
The site comprises a large 650 m² plot to the rear of the gymnasium, lightly wooded and facing south-east, and a 250 m² plot to the right of the gymnasium entrance, wooded and with a good view of the sports complex and Avenue de la Porte Chaumont.
